I like the classic sever more, but this will be the last classic server.

Normal servers are little more complicated than classic servers and competition is very high for oasis in normal servers. (there is no competition for oasis in classic servers )

but I dont think the version of the server will affect our alliance strategy in the new server.

I don't like heroes, but I love the higher resources levels in the capital (and the trapper, if you wish to play as a gaul )

Yah, I just like the simplicity. Also, it's nice to have one server that's different than the others. I would think that it would encourage people to keep playing travian if they have a few options.

So what is the maximum resource in normal servers?

4900 i suppose....with lvl 20(not entirely sure you can go to lvl 20) fields + 3 oasis with 25% bonus

The char nacauhitoet in s2 isnt bringing me much luck. Dont make any difference what you call the alliance to me. Long as its the same winning bunch of guys. What is the point of the oasis? What does it do?

I think all it does is increase your production of a particular resource. There are oases for each of the four resources.

Oases give boosts to resources. To conquer an oasis, you must use a hero (and other troops) from the village within the 8 square block around the oasis.

yeah, oases are basically resource production boosters. you can have up to 3 conquered from each village. they give nice bonuses.
in t3 servers, the available crop oasis bonuses to a 15c are very important, and 15c's with 150% crop bonuses get snatched up first, regardless of where they are.
