Wow! Four weeks. That gives me time to... What am I going to do now?

OK - I just checked - s3 will be ready in 11:31:44 hrs from now.

Forgive my ignorance but how did you check this?

At www.travian.com home page, you will see "Newsbox III" to the right. It says "s4.travian.com will restart on the 30th of May as a Travian3 server (normal speed). Preregistration will be possible from the 28th of May. " Then when you click register you will see a count down for travian server 4. When it reaches 0 it will change to server 3 and will be running. We can actually register our accounts right now.
I am pretty sure that is what it means.

I think server 4 means just that - server 4. Usually Travian allows a few weeks between when a server ends and then resets to begin again. If you register for server 4, you'll be playing server 4. You'll need to wait a few weeks before this server, server 3, resets and starts up again.

It did say that preregistration will be available on March 28th. It is now March 29. It might be a good idea to wait, but I suppose it wouldn't hurt to try it.

As long as Server 3 restarts as Travian 3 (non-classic) and non-speed, I'll be completely happy. I wanna play a serious game now with T3 and not T2.5, and I also don't want to get attacks from across the server that take a total of 5 hours each way...

Tell me when we can sign up for S3 again, and I'll pre-register.

I take it we're staying SW all the way?

When the server does restart, are we all going to join s3WC or whatever as soon as it is available?

I'm in for the restart, happy if it's 4 weeks break too.

Server 3 will most likely be a classic server.

LOL, Let me get this straight. We are waiting for S3 to reset right? S4 did and I registered for it just in case.

Ok well a bunch of things are getting mixed together. Servers 4 and 3 (restarted) will be the same type of play - heroes, oases, etc. at normal speed (what they refer to as a Travian 3 server - not to be confused with the actual s3.travian.com which is Server 3). They will, however, be different servers. We're all talking about taking the break and then joining up when Server 3 restarts.

I just checked - server 4 is definitely not classic. I created an account to find out. There was probably an easier way but now we know for sure.

We should really lobby the admins to make S3 a Classic server.

HA... HA... I just had to check for myself! lol

While waiting for restart I've started on s1.travian.com.au, first Australia/New Zealand server. Server started this morning and only has 652 players on it so far. I was placed at (-27|10) starting 11 hours into the server.
